So the time has finally come for me to stop mooching free storage space from my mom’s basement and begin the long process of bringing my vinyl over to my place. This was the first batch I picked up…not much, about 200 records and a handful of 45’s. Spent the weekend listening to practically all of them and I gotta admit im HOOKED on vinyl again…the sound, the cover art…even the smell!
I think an all vinyl set will be coming up very soon at Electrik Soul…stay tuned!
I’ll be switching up from my normal 1st and 3rd Saturday format this month. My May Dates are May 8th and May 22nd.

Another great night at “Electrik Soul” this past Saturday. The turnout was great, the drinks were flowin’ and most importantly the music was on point! We went from Stevie Wonder to Pharcyde to some Jazzanova & Moodyman to some Nitzer Ebb & Front 242. Definitely a fun night! A big thank you to DJ Serg and Chicago Skyway for taking us on that musical journey.
I will be taking a little vacation to Europe over the spring break so the next scheduled “Electrik Soul” event will be on Saturday April 17th. See ya then.
